The Full Story

Defined by the Cross started as a small group of Highschool students from several local schools in the Port Saint Lucie Area in the year of 2020. Dusty and Ashley Steckman have lived in the area for 3 years and started this YTH ministry out of a place of urgency for young adults to know Jesus. They have been married for 5 years and thrive in leading young Highschool students. They both attend the local church at CF in Port Saint Lucie and attended Calvary Chapel for several years before branching out to serve the next generation. They have a passion for reaching people to Jesus while in the middle of their own personal testimony. Both husband and wife came to know the Lord at a young age but they have moved into a deeper relationship with Jesus through their infertility battle. They love watching God work through the lives of young Highschool students and are excited about continuing to reach the next generation for Jesus.
